More than 100 quality products from 22 key enterprises based in Shandong province appeared at the Ninth Silk Road International Expo, which is being held in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, from May 21 to 25.

Focusing on "jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and boosting cooperation", this year's expo is featuring six themed exhibition zones revolving around BRI quality products, inter-provincial cooperation, technological innovation, low-altitude development, transportation and logistics, and cultural tourism consumption.

The Shandong exhibition zone, covering an area of 264 square meters, is relying on intelligent design and digital display technology to present a panoramic view of Shandong's technological strength and cultural heritage in high-quality development.

It offers global merchants an immersive, multi-dimensional feast of Shandong's unique charm, offering deeper insights into the province's development in seven areas – new energy and materials, artificial intelligent, high-end equipment manufacturing, health and medical development, modern agriculture, Shandong handicraft, and remarkable products.

Shandong and Shaanxi have seen increasing trade cooperation through the Shandong China-Europe freight train, as the freight train has successively served more than 20,000 import and export enterprises, with the value of imported and exported goods exceeding 120 billion yuan ($16.65 billion), constantly setting new cooperation records between the two regions.
