济南与芬兰万达市自2001年缔结友好城市关系以来，已携手走过25年。多年来，两市在经贸、文化、教育、环保、城市发展等多个领域保持密切交流与务实合作，结下了深厚的国际友城情谊。马年新春，芬兰万达市向济南市民致以节日问候与美好祝愿。

值此新春佳节，芬兰万达市向大家致以节日的问候。今年对于济南市和万达市是意义非凡的一年，自我们缔结友好城市关系至今已走过25个春秋。自2001年以来，两市及市民间的友好情谊持续深化，对此我们倍感欣喜。我们始终相信，友好城市间的合作是促进民心相通、增进全球理解的重要途径。我们两市已在诸多领域开展了交流合作与经验分享，涵盖经贸合作机遇、临空区域发展、环境保护、文化交流、校际合作、青少年互访以及高校联合办学等多个领域。

我们始终乐于与济南开展合作，这座城市既迸发着创新驱动的发展活力，也浸润着千年古城的历史底蕴。25年来，我们两市皆蓬勃发展、日新月异，我们愿继续共享新思路，共促新发展。

万达市是芬兰第四大城市，坐落于大都市区，紧邻首都赫尔辛基。万达市也是赫尔辛基—万达国际机场所在地。就在近期，我们启动了我市历史上规模最大的投资项目——轻轨建设项目，推动城市转型升级。

在万达市，市民享受着出门即美景、四季皆成画的和谐自然和城市生活。诚挚欢迎您亲临万达市，亲自感受这里的城市风貌与自然景观。今年，一如既往，我们期待与济南携手，探索全新路径，缔结紧密纽带，增进相互了解。我谨代表万达市，祝愿济南全体市民在新的一年宏图大展、身体健康、阖家幸福！

Dear Friends in Jinan,

From the City of Vantaa , in Finland,Happy Chinese Lunar New Year wishes! This new year marks a special year in th e Sister City relationship between Jinan and Vantaa, since it is now 25 years from when we signed our Sister City agreement. We are very happy that from 2001 onwards, we have been continuously improving the friendly relations between our cities and citizens. We feel our Sister City collaborationis a great way of creating bonds between people and increase global understanding. We have collaborated  and shared knowledge in many different areas, such as business opportunities, airport city development, environmental topics, cultural relations, school connections, visits of youth and children, and creation of joint higher education possibilities.

We are always happy to cooperate with Jinan, the city that is combining today’s innovation driven development and growth with the city’s urban history of thousands of years. In 25 years, both our cities have developed and grown fast, and together we can share new ideas for continuous progress.

Our city,  Vantaa, is Finland’s 4th largest city. We are situated in the Metropolitan region, next to the capital city Helsinki. Vantaa is the home city of the international airport.Now, very recently, we have started the city history’s largest investment of building our light rail line, which is transforming the city. Our citizens value the combination between the urban life with easy reach to beautiful, harmonious nature, and the four seasons. We welcome you to visit Vantaa and explore our city’s sights and nature destinations yourself. This year, as always, we are looking forward to finding new ways to create further connections and deepen the understanding between our cities. From the City of Vantaa, we wish all the citizens in Jinan a prosperous New Year,  good health and happiness !
