在人工智能（AI）加快驱动硬件创新的新趋势下，美国元公司（Meta）正计划削减元宇宙业务，转向加码AI硬件。Meta近期表示，考虑将明年元宇宙团队的预算削减高达30%，并将收购AI可穿戴设备初创公司Limitless。
元宇宙业务曾被Meta视为未来方向，但至今未能真正打开市场空间。如今，Meta备受瞩目的元宇宙业务陷入长期亏损，过去4年持续亏损超700亿美元。市场对Meta削减元宇宙预算的反应积极，Meta股价近期上涨超3%，也从侧面反映出投资者对元宇宙持续亏损的担忧。
元宇宙并未退场，但AI硬件的开发正成为新的热潮。Meta 旗下的AI眼镜持续热销，今年上半年拿下73%的市场份额，出货量同比增长超200%，成为新的增长引擎。Meta在声明中称：“鉴于公司在AI眼镜及可穿戴设备领域的积极进展，我们正将部分投资从元宇宙转向该方向。”
近期有多家科技巨头加紧布局AI硬件，AI眼镜和AI手机成重点方向，可以预见的是，2026年围绕AI硬件的竞争势必会更加激烈。

LG Energy Solution Signed a Battery Supply Agreement Worth Over 2 Trillion Won with Mercedes-Benz
据媒体报道，韩国电动汽车电池制造商LG新能源12月8日首尔早盘交易中一度攀升近7%。该股有望创下一个多月来的最大单日涨幅。
According to media reports, LG Energy Solution, a South Korean electric vehicle battery manufacturer, rose by nearly 7% at one point in the early trading session in Seoul on December 8. The stock is expected to record its biggest single-day gain in over a month.
当天，LG新能源表示，已与德国汽车巨头梅赛德斯-奔驰集团签署一项价值2.06万亿韩元（约合13.9亿美元）的电池供应协议。
The same day, LG Energy Solution said it had signed a battery supply agreement worth 2.06 trillion won (about $1.39 billion) with the German automotive giant Mercedes-Benz Group.
据悉，该合同项下的供应将于2028年3月开始，持续到2035年6月。
The supply under this contract will commence in March 2028 and last until June 2035.
该合同的价值约占这家韩国电池制造商2024年年收入的8%。
The value of this contract accounts for approximately 8% of the South Korean battery manufacturer's revenue in 2024.
美国奈飞公司宣布将收购华纳兄弟
Netflix Announced that It will Acquire Warner Bros
据外媒报道，当地时间12月5日，流媒体巨头奈飞公司宣布已达成协议，将以约827亿美元的总价收购华纳兄弟。
According to foreign media reports, on December 5 local time, streaming giant Netflix announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire Warner Bros. for a total price of approximately ＄82.7 billion.
据悉，此次被收购的资产包括该公司的电影和电视工作室，以及流媒体平台HBO Max等。
The assets acquired this time include the company's film and television studios, as well as the streaming media platform HBO Max, etc.
该交易尚需获得相关监管部门批准，预计将于2026年第三季度完成。
The transaction still needs to be approved by relevant regulatory authorities and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026.
