Linyi, located in East China's Shandong province and known as the "Logistics Capital of China", has been strategically developing its road, rail, air, and port logistics in recent years, leading to the establishment of a comprehensive land-sea-air integrated logistical system.

The city dispatches over 200,000 metric tons of goods daily on its more-than 2,000 domestic loading routes, which connect all cities at or above the county level as well as all ports and customs nationwide.

The evolution of Linyi's commercial landscape can be traced back to the start of the country's reform and opening-up efforts in 1978, with roadside stalls rapidly giving way to specialized wholesale markets in the mid-1980s.

The flourishing wholesale market scene has catalyzed the continuous growth of the transportation industry. In November 2007, the Jinlan Modern Logistics Base commenced operations, marking the city's shift towards professionalization in the logistics sector.

Linyi has strategically focused on countries and regions participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, establishing nine overseas malls and warehouses in nations such as Hungary, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia.

In recent years, the convention and exhibition industry within Linyi's commercial hub has been developing rapidly, injecting fresh vitality into the integration of domestic and foreign trade.

The development of commercial and trade logistics in Linyi has propelled the rapid expansion of the convention and exhibition industry, which in turn fuels further prosperity in commercial and trade logistics.
