Recently, the "Friendly Shandong: Springs in Jinan" 2025 Cultural Exchange Event was held at the Cultural Center of Kyonggi University in Suwon, South Korea. The event aims to showcase the unique cultural charm of the four districts of Jinan - Lixia, Tianqiao, Gangcheng, and Licheng - through city-to-city learning and cooperation. It's helpful for building an exchange system that is spring-mediated, culture-driven, and industry-integrated, comprehensively displaying Jinan's unique landscape featuring mountains, springs, lakes, rivers and urban area, as well as its urban character of traditional and modern co-existence.

Lixia District has been committed to telling its story through handwritten letter souvenirs. The city's IP presenting event, with the theme of "Cultural Lixia: Handwritten Letters Express Emotions", was held. Exhibits that integrate Jinan's characteristics with the essence of Qilu culture were displayed, winning widespread praise from Korean visitors.

The photo exhibition "Tianqiao Culture and Heritage: A Bridge Between China and South Korea" comprehensively showcases the urban genes of Jinan's Tianqiao District, where tradition and modernity intertwine, through unique perspectives and rich photographic works.

In the intangible cultural heritage exhibition of Gangcheng District, exquisite intangible cultural heritage items such as Qingquan clay sculpture and Han Dynasty stone rubbing were all showcased. Through bilingual interpretation in Chinese and Korean, the history and craftsmanship of the techniques were explained, and immersive experience sessions were set up to allow Korean visitors to personally experience interactive projects such as tinware engraving and rubbing making.

The Licheng District calligraphy and painting exhibition showcased a series of selected ink artworks including Autumn Scenery of Que Mountain and Hua Mountain, demonstrating Licheng's thousand-year cultural heritage as the "First Prefecture on the Qilu Land" and its new urban image.

The successful holding of this cultural exchange event not only brought a visual and cultural feast to the visitors in Suwon, South Korea, but also built an important platform for cultural exchange and mutual learning between China and South Korea.

In the future, Jinan will continue to actively carry out various cultural exchange activities, promote more outstanding cultures to go global, and allow the world to better understand Jinan and experience the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture.
