An immersive performance at Daming Lake scenic area in Jinan is drawing growing numbers of international visitors, offering a new way to experience the city's cultural appeal.

Titled Golden Wind, Jade Dew: A Perfect Encounter, the production brings to life the story of Xia Yuhe, a character from the popular TV drama My Fair Princess created by writer Qiong Yao. Blending performance with real scenery, the show allows audiences to step into the narrative and engage more closely with traditional Chinese aesthetics.

A key highlight is its interactive format. International visitors are invited on stage to take part in traditional games such as the Luban lock, turning the performance into a shared cultural experience.

The production has attracted audiences from countries such as the United States, Italy and Indonesia. By combining storytelling, participation and scenic settings, it offers visitors a more immersive alternative to conventional sightseeing.
