The Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, together with the Municipal Bureau of Finance, has launched a new round of multi-category tourism vouchers as the peak summer travel season approaches—covering hotels, scenic attractions, museums, performances, and cinema—as a warm gesture of invitation for tourists and locals to explore Qingdao from now until July 20.

The vouchers are distributed daily at 10 a.m. through platforms such as Maoyan, Douyin, Ctrip, and Qunar. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be used immediately upon claiming.

Vouchers for scenic attractions, museums, and live performances are available on Douyin. Registered users can book participating A-rated attractions (including coastal cruises), museum entries, and performance tickets through the platform and access five tiers of discounts: 15 yuan off every 50 yuan, 30 yuan off every 100 yuan, 60 yuan off every 200 yuan, 150 yuan off every 500 yuan, and 200 yuan off every 800 yuan—offering up to 30% in savings. Users can search for keywords such as "Qingdao Cultural Tourism Vouchers" or hashtags like "#青岛市文旅消费券" in the Douyin app during the campaign to access the campaign hub to claim vouchers, or go to merchant group-buying websites where they can select the vouchers to apply discounts at checkouts.

Cinema vouchers are distributed via Maoyan, and can also be claimed through Meituan, WeChat, and Dianping. Registered users purchasing tickets at participating cinemas through these platforms can enjoy a 30% instant discount, with savings of up to 60 yuan. Users can access the vouchers by visiting the Maoyan app homepage during the campaign, the "Movies & Entertainment" section in the WeChat app, or the movie/performance sections on the Meituan and Dianping apps, then navigating to the Qingdao Cultural Tourism Voucher campaign page to claim the offer.

Vouchers for accommodation are available through Ctrip and Qunar. Registered users looking to book participating hotels via these platforms can enjoy a 20% instant discount, with savings of up to 500 yuan. Users can search for "Qingdao Cultural Tourism Vouchers" or "Qingdao Consumption Vouchers" in the apps' search bars during the campaign to access the dedicated event page and claim vouchers before placing their bookings. Alternatively, users can enter the "Hotels" section from the app homepage, set their destination to Qingdao, and browse listings marked with the "Qingdao Cultural Tourism Voucher" label. From there, they can enter the hotel's detail page, click "Claim & Book," and complete the booking in one step to enjoy the discount. Vouchers can also be accessed via promotional banners in the app's main interface.
